Kosinski is a Starfleet Propulsion Specialist who performed a series of computer/engine upgrades on Federation starships during early 2364. Having already visited the Ajax and the Fearless and leaving them with better engines, Kosinski tried the same for the Enterprise along with his assistant, the 'Traveler'. However, the modifications were unsuccessful and the Enterprise was propelled into another galaxy.

Assistant to Kosinski during a period of engine modifications in early 2364. The Traveler was the one responsible for the advancements due to his ability to see thought as energy. During his early visit to the Enterprise, the Traveler saw great potential in Wesley Crusher.

Argyle was one of the Chief Engineers on the Enterprise in early 2364. He oversaw the modification of the ship's engines during a visit from Kosinski and the Traveler.
