When an Enterprise away team visited their world, Rivan and Liator extended them the hospitality of shore leave, but when Wesley failed to observe a law Liator demanded his execution be upheld. Rivan was beamed aboard the Enterprise with Picard and became highly emotional when she saw the Edo God through an Enterprise viewing window.
