This episode yields some nuggets of information about the holodeck - we learn that it has a mortality failsafe to stop people getting killed, and works on a similar basis to the ship's transporter (see also "Ship in a Bottle").
	Geordi served under Captain Zambada when he was an Ensign. Zambada is now Captain of the USS Victory.
	Geordi's engineering specialities include antimatter power and dilithium regulators.
