Celebrated scientist and cyberneticist who lived on his namesake planet Gravesworld with assistant Kareen Briannon. Despite efforts to save him by the Enterprise's Dr. Selar, Graves died in 2365. However, he tried to take control of Lt. Cmdr. Data by implanting his consciousness into Data's neural net. Luckily the attempt was thwarted, and Graves was laid to rest.

Young assistant to cyberneticist Dr. Ira Graves. Kareen was very much isolated from the outside world, not even knowing the distinction between Klingons and Romulans. When Graves died in 2365, she was transported by the Enterprise to a nearby starbase.

Doctor onboard the Enterprise in 2365. Selar was assigned by CMO Dr. Pulaski to tend to Dr. Ira Graves who was dying of Darnay's disease. Unfortunately, Selar couldn't do anything for him.
