The Nausicaans are a bad-tempered and violent race. They were responsible for stabbing Picard through the heart (see also "Samaritan Snare").
	Picard came into contact with the race again during his sophomore year when he was assigned to Morikin VII near a Nausicaan asteroid outpost.
	Picard used to play Dom-Jot (mentioned in spinoff Deep Space Nine).
	Picard was killed on the away mission by a compressed terion beam.
	Picard's academy friends included Corey Zweller and Marta Batanides.
	Picard was known as "Jonny" at the Academy. His old flames included Penny from Rigel and Corlena.
	In the alternative future, Picard is a lieutenant serving as assistant astrophysics officer. The Enterprise is commanded by Captain Thomas Halloway.
	Picard led the away team on Milika III to save an ambassador. He also took charge of the Stargazer after its captain was killed.
