Planet Velara III is in the Pleiades Cluster.
	The lifeform discovered on Velara III is capable of energy manipulation on a huge scale, and seems to be dependent on the mineral salts in a layer of water under the planets surface. The lifeform is highly photosensitive.
	An Engineering Ensign (Carolyne Barry) makes a reference to "two people trapped in the head programmer's rest room" in one of the only known references to rest rooms aboard the Enterprise in all of Star Trek. It is never disclosed if these people were rescued.
