Dytallix B is one of several planets mined for the Federation by the Dytallix Mining Corporation, and is the fifth of six planets orbiting the red giant Mira.
	The Enterprise was scheduled to travel to the ocean planet of Pacifica.
	Code 47 is described as the Starfleet Emergency Channel: Captain's Eyes Only.
	Captain Walker Keel was captain of the USS Horatio, and along with Jack Crusher, was one of Picard's most trusted friends. He was responsible for introducing Jack to Beverly Crusher.
	Picard and Keel first met on planet Tau Ceti III.
	Tryla Scott made captain faster than anyone else in Starfleet.
	The three most senior members of Starfleet are involved in the conspiracy - Admirals Aaron, Quinn and Savar. Remmick is the host of the "mother parasite".
	The conspiracy in this episode was first alluded to in 'Coming of Age'. 'The Drumhead' established that Admiral Norah Satie helped uncover the conspiracy.
