Captain of the small cargoship Erstwhile. Okona was distrustful of authority but secretly assisted the romance of Benzan of Straleb and Yanar of Atlec in 2365, much to the chagrin of Captain Picard.

Yanar is the daughter of Debin from Atlec, and Benzan was son of Secretary Kushell from Straleb. Between Yanar and Benzan, the Coalition of Madena was nearly deposed, but thanks to the efforts of Captains Picard and Okona, the couple were married and all was settled between the worlds.

Secretary Kushell of Straleb and Leader Debin of Atlec developed hostilities in 2365 when Thadiun Okona was accused of making Debin's daughter pregnant and stealing from Kushell. Luckily, all was resolved by Captain Picard and the two leaders resolved their differences.
