Early rumors about the infamous Ral/Troi bed scene made sure this episode was extremely badly received by critics.
	Matt McCoy (Ral) worked with Jonathan Frakes in "Dreamwest" and had roles in "Police Academy V", "Deep Star Six" and "We've Got It Made".
	Kevin Peter Hall (Leyor) was seven feet four, and played the famous Predator in the original movie as well as the Bigfoot role in "Harry and the Hendersons". Hall died soon after the episode was filmed.
	In the script, Ral's travelling companion was named Rojay.
	A redressed Troi's office appears here after "The Icarus Factor", and its location is given as Deck 8/3472 while her quarters are on Deck 9/0910.
	The Ferengi ship is classed as a "Marauder" for the first time.
	This episode is picked up in spinoff Voyager's third season instalment "False Profits".
