Born Jeremiah Rossa in 2353, Jono was taken during a Talarian raid and adopted by Talarian Captain Endar. Captain Picard allowed Jono to return to his adopted father after the Enterprise rescued him from a stricken Observation Craft in 2367.

Starfleet officer whose two sons were both killed in action during the Talarian conflict. Admiral Rossa was under the impression for many years that her grandson, Jeremiah Rossa, was killed by Talarians at Galen IV in 2356. He was later discovered alive in 2367, but decided to remain with his adoptive Talarian father.
