Michael Piller revealed that the staff had toyed with the idea of a Troi-Worf relationship and had been building little moments into scripts to support that if it happened - their mutual concern for Alexander, and Worf making Deanna the boy's guardian in "Ethics".
	Tony Jay (Campio) is famous for his role as Paracelsus in "Beauty and the Beast".
	The Wind Dancer balloon effect was created by Rob Legato using a bowling ball without holes. The camera would follow the ball in sync with it's white highlight spot and the image would be matted with the face of the clown.
