 REVIEW by WILL RIKER

"Our children are not for sale, at any price." This is definitely an interesting episode. Not one of Trek's best, but interesting. To start I have to agree with Harry. MATH SUCKS!

Anyway, I must say beaming in and beaming out people at random would freak me out if I were in Picard's shoes. They could abduct the whole ship in the blink of an eye... which they did with the children. I thought the plot was unique in this episode. The fact that they would actually steal another race's children shows the desperation they must feel as their race dies out. I sympathize but do not condone the actions of their leaders.

I thought the random crew members who acted as the children's parents aboard the Enterprise were horrible actors, especially Alexandra's mom. I'd like to know how she got on the show.

I thought the repulsor weapon that pushed ships across the galaxy was both a great weapon and a great defence mechanism. Got an enemy? Just knock them into the Delta Quadrant. Captain Janeway could use some company!

This was also another "Wesley rocks!" episode. I thought his idea to have a Sitzkrieg was pretty smart. Whatever they want you to do... don't! Simple, but very effective. The people ended up going nuts.

Finally, Picard once again shows how horrible he is with kids. He just stands like a statue when the poor kid is giving him a hug and thanking him for saving her and the others. It's pretty funny when he gets that puffy thing stuck to his back too. Overall, not that great, but it's still Star Trek so it's good just from that aspect.
