	Wesley takes more Starfleet exams in this episode, allowing him to stay on the Enterprise for longer.
	Picard has given Wesley a book of philosophy by William James which apparently won't be on his Starfleet exams.
	Picard discusses how he didn't have time to marry, was top of his Academy class and got into a brawl with three Nausicaans at the Bonestall Recreation Facility on Starbase Earhart. He describes how he was impaled through the back by a Nausicaan and given a replacement heart. (this is further fleshed out in season six's "Tapestry".)
