There is an outbreak of Correllium fever on Nahmi IV. Tissue samples from the Mikulaks could prove essential in wiping out the fever.
	First appearance of shy Engineer Reg Barclay who makes another four TNG appearances as well as guesting in spinoff Voyager.
	Nucleosynthesis is described as the "alteration of matter at the atomic level."
	The five substances capable of producing the molecular changes to the Enterprise are invidium, jakmanite, lucrovexitrin, selgninaem and saltzgadum. Jakmanite has a half life of 15 seconds and Selgninaem and Lucrovexitrin are extremely toxic. Invidium was used in medical containment fields a century ago but the Mikulaks still use it.
	Wesley coined the nickname "Broccoli" for Barclay.
	Barclay previously served onboard the U.S.S. Zhukov where Captain Gleason spoke very highly of him.
	Barclay likes warm milk in Ten Forward.
	Geordi mentions that he fell in love in the holodeck (see "Booby Trap".)
	There is no regulations to stop crew simulating other crewmembers in the holodeck.
