Respected hydroponics scientist on Earth in the mid-24th Century. Louis was a boyhood friend of Jean-Luc Picard. Louis hopes that Picard would accept directorship of the Atlantis Project in 2367 were disappointed.

Starfleet officer who was killed in the line of duty while serving under Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the U.S.S. Stargazer in 2354. Jack married Beverly Howard in 2348 and together they had one son, Wesley, in 2349.
