Mar Oscura is an unexplored dark matter nebula containing several class-M planets. The nebula was first discovered over a century ago.
	Data also plays the flute in the woodwind section of an Enterprise ensemble which includes Keiko O'Brien and Jenna D'Sora.
	Jenna's father died when she was very young. She has one younger brother.
	Jenna gives Data a Tyrinean sculpture - Data says it line is both fluid and formal, yet retains an unpremeditated quality, the tactility of the surface enrichment is evocative of the neo-primitive period in Tyrinean blade carving. Data gives her a crystilia flower from Telemarius III.
	Data's cat (see "Data's Day") is finally named as Spot, and apparently a male (although not in "Force of Nature").
	O'Brien leaves his socks on the floor for his wife to pick up.
	Guinan's new drink is a mixture of 87% Saurian Brandy with Targ Milk and Denevian Mead. She claims to have discovered it on Prakal II. Data claims it has an unusually high concentration of mono-saccharides and fructose compounds.
	Picard navigates through the Mar Oscura Nebula in Shuttlecraft 3.
