Dorvan V is on the Cardassian side of the Demilitarized Zone.
	A number of North American aboriginals have established a village in a small valley on the southern continent of Dorvan V. They have been there for 20 years. Their ancestors left Earth 200 years ago in order to conserve their culture.
	New Mexico still exists in the 24th Century.

	One of Picard's ancestors, Alvarez Maribona Picard was involved in the bloody Spanish reprisals after the Indian uprising in present day New Mexico back in 1680. This was 23 generations ago (700 years).
	The Traveler from Tau Ceti is able to control warp fields with his mind. Wesley will travel to a new plan of existence which "few humans have experienced" (see "Where No One Has Gone Before").
