	Ira Graves studied Molecular Cybernetics and was considered to be the greatest human mind on the subject.
	Darnay's disease is terminal, affecting the brain and Nervous System. Dr. Selar advises there is no known cure.
	The USS Constantinople is a Federation transport ship which is ferrying 2012 colonists. When an outer-hull breach hit the ship, the Enterprise was forced to divert from Gravesworld and send Dr Selar, Data, Troi and Worf by near-warp transport to the planet.
	The Starfleet "psych test" is referred to again here, this time given its full title - the "psychotronic stability exam" (see "Coming of Age").
